Former Deputy Prime Minister Tun Abdul Ghafar Baba, 81, passed away at Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre in Jalan Ampang here this morning due to heart, lung and kidney complications at 7.35 am today.

Ghafar’s remains will be buried at the Makam Pahlawan (National Mausoleum) after asar prayers (4.29pm) and will be accorded full national honour.
