There are hundreds of Google Adsense tips available on the internet, which you can find them just by google it.

From my own experiences, these are the best tips.

To maximize you revenue from Adsense program, try to understand these:

1. Content

2. Traffic

3. Placement

Content

“Content is king!”, somone said. With good content and good exposure, you will get huge traffic. With good content and high price keywords, you will get extra dollars. You might have to write 100 to 200 good content pages to get at least $100 per month. So, multiply it by 10 if you want $1000. But that is just a theory

So, write good original content! How to get the high price keyword? Just read on.

Traffic

More traffic you got, will probably make you have more click. For example, if you got 100 unique visitor per day and 10% from them click the ads, you will get 10 clicks. If you got 1000 unique visitors, 10% from them clicked, you got 100 clicks!

How to get high traffic?

• Again, write good contents which may attract visitors to come again and again.
• Get links from high PR web sites.
• Promote your web site.
• Create a small good free software and submit it to hundreds of software repository sites to get more links and exposure.

Placement

• Place the ads according to adsense heatmap or forum heatmap.
• Blend the ads unit with you web site. Check this site for an example : woot.com. Can you spot the ads?
• Place the ads unit under an image or beside it. Make sure it is not too close. Probably you want to add a line between them. It is not for cheat you visitors, but to attract the visitors to read the ads. Check this out.
• If you have a high CTR (Click Through Rate) from an ads unit, but return low earning and another ads unit with low CTR but high earning, you may want to delete the ad unit with high CTR and replace it with a link to your high earning page.
• Put ad link on the left side menu.
• Too many ads may distract your visitors away. It also possible to decrease you earning because of smart pricing. Minimize ad unit number. If possible, just place one ad unit and one ad link in one page.
• Use adsense clicklogger or click tracker along with your adsense channel to find the high keywords or high earning pages.
• If you found it, make another page with the same topic keyword but different content!
• If you found low earning ad, filter it using your adsense competetive ad filter. I personally think we should filter ad that is below $0.10, am I right?
