The Biggest Military Computer Hack Of All Time
The US government is attempting to extradite Mr McKinnon to stand trial for what one American prosecutor called “the biggest military computer hack of all time”.
According to the news, he could faces up to 70 years in jail punishment. Hmm.. 70 years for hacking??
Mr McKinnon, motivated by curiosity (most of hackers are always motivated by curiosity), admitted that he spent years wandering round military computer networks, between February 2001 and March 2002. Mr McKinnon repeatedly hacked into dozens of computers used by the US Army, Navy, Air Force, and Department of Defense. So impressives!! I, never know how to hack my own computers.., and he crack The US military’s computers! :)
Mark being arrested by the UK’s National Hi-Tech Crime Unit in 2002, but only was indicted by the US government in 2005. Mr McKinnon is expected to find out if he is to be extradited for trial in the US, this week.
