Adsense Secret : How to know the ad price in realtime
Someone asks me how it is possible to know the ad’s price, because I had mentioned it on the google adsense tips page.
Okay, here is the answer.
It is only possible if your site are a low click site, means, when you open your adsense account, it is possible to see a channel with a single click and it’s price on the early of the day.
The basic is, we could know the ad’s price from adsense channel and we could get whose ad from a click tracker.
You should create URL channel in each page you want to trace. Also, create a Custom Channel for each of ad’s unit.
Use clicklogger script to trace your clicks. The clicklogger could tell which the click come from, when and what ad your visitor clicked.
When Google Adsense start calculate your earning for the day (if you are from Malaysia, Google Adsense will calculate from 3PM), log in to your adsense account and you will see the day start with $0.00 earning. Okay, leave it alone.
In one hour, view your clicklogger log, if you see any click from 3PM to 4PM. I any get the destination page and the source page address. The destination page is who are paying for the ad and the source page is where the ad was displayed and clicked.
Open your adsense account, and compare the source page with your URL channel. Find the channel with one click and you will get the price of the specific ad. Note it in your database. (If your adsense account is not updated, try again in one hour.)
In the end of the month you should know which ad is $0.02 and which ad is $10. With those information, you also could know what is your highest paying keyword! What you want to do with it is up to you.
This is important: the price is not static, one day it could be high and one day it could be low.
