If you try searching any tech news or gamers’ news about the latest game console, you might find that every where is writing about Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation 3. But most of the news is weighing to Wii.

Wii here, Wii there, Wii win,,bla bla bla!

Is Nintendo’s Wii really better than Sony Playstation? Look like every gamers out there are prefering Wii. Why? Well, I don’t know. I never own both of them. I just own an old PS2, which is rarely played by my 5 years old son. He prefer watching cartoons than playing games! But.. he prefer to playing computer games such as Counter Strike than watching cartoons!

May be PS3 is very expensive compare to Wii. Wii is only half the price of PS3. The suggested retail price of the Wii is $A275.39 and the cheaper version of Sony’s PlayStation 3 $A550.56 (Australia money).

Wii’s focus is very good. They are targetting on who had not been interested in TV games so far become interested. How can it be? If all this while somebody who is not interested in TV games suddenly will become interested, how if somebody have already interested? So, Wii might be very interesting! I am very eager to know how Wii are played and how it feel.

From TheAge Australia, “In the first eight days through November 26, around 600,000 units were sold in the United States, Canada and Latin America, while the roughly 400,000 units shipped for the launch day in Japan sold out immediately”. Isn’t that impressive? I hope, one day I could invent something that could sell 1 Million units in a week.. ha ha ha!

Here is a good article, might be some answer why every gamers prefer Wii than PS3: 5 reasons to like the PS3 . He wrote, if you do not have a 42″ (at least) High Definition TV with a very good sound system, you would not see any different when using PS3. So, expensive game console and expensive audio video system. How many can affor that? I am not.

Well, for now I will just stick with my old PS2 may be for another 2 to 3 years.
