Configuring Port Forwarding for Caremo DSL Modem-With Image
After tons of request to complete this post, on how to port forwarding for Caremo DSL modem, with image, now here it is.

1. Open IE, type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter. Type in your username and password. Default username/password is admin/admin. Then click “Log In” button.

2. Once logged in, click “Advance Setting”. And again in left-side menu click “Advance Setting”, and you will be forwarded to UPnP window.

3. If you want to use UPnP port mapping in Options>Preferences>Connection, just tick the check box and you do not need to configure port forwarding. But for me, I will do the port forwarding. Okay, click “Port Forwarding” on the left-side menu.

4. Choose the connection name, select your computer IP (mine is 192.168.13).

5. As you can see on the image above, there is no available rule in user category. So, we need to add our own custom rule. FYI, only under this category you could add a custom category. Okay, click the “Add” button under the “Available rules” box.

6. Insert the rule’s name, in above image is “torrent”. Just create your own name, any name. Insert port number, the port you want to use in bittorrent application, in the Port Start, Port End and Port Map. Just one port is enough if you use Utorrent. Click “Apply”

7. Once applied, you will see the same as above image.

8. Open again the Port Forwarding window from the left-side menu, choose connection and your the IP number of your computer which you want to use Utorrent. Click “User”, and you will see a new created rules named “Utorrent”. Select it and click Add, to add it to “Applied  Rules” box, as the image below.

9. When you see it as above, click “Apply”.

10. You have already finish configuring port forwarding in this DSL modem. Do not forget to save it, otherwise all you hard work (just kidding) will be lost once you switch off the modem.

11. To save, click “Maintenance”>”System Commands” for the left-side menu, then press “Save All”.

dear gaminfreak,
I don’t know whether yours is old interface or the latest interface, but IMHO all DSL modems have quite the same method on enabling the portforwarding, furthermore yours is also a caremo. I don’t think there is so much different.
They have quite good products and cheap too, but…yeah their website is useless.
