The popular make-money-based forum WangCyber.com is organising a competition called “Cabaran Wang Cyber” or Wang Cyber Challenge, and their first challenge is to put their web sites on the top of the list in Google and Yahoo search engine using Melayu Boleh keywords.

The price are RM100 for the first place, RM60 and RM40 for the second and the third place.

I think the price is not much but thier objective is priceless.

“Melayu boleh” is a phrase meaning “Malay Can”. The previous Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Muhammad was the one who like to use ”Malaysia Boleh” phrase which means “Malaysia Can”. Using the phrase, for him, was one of a way to motivate the Malaysian to work hard to achieve everything in their life.

But the sad thing was, some naughty Malaysians used “Melayu Boleh” to mean as Malays can do “it” where “it” means the bad things.

Actually, for the moment, Melayu Boleh keywords are usually directed to nrop sites. 

Why? This is because, in the early stage of the Internet era in Malaysia, there were some nrop web sites using the Melayu Boleh words as their prime keywords. At that time, not many Malay nrop site, so when some body searching using Melayu Boleh keywords in the search engines, they will be directed to the nrop site links.

And still, nowadays, Melayu Boleh keywords will be referred to the same type of sites. The different, they are no longer Melayu site because overseas web sites are also using the Melayu Boleh keywords… hahaha.. funny is it?

So, the competition’s objective is to take over the highest places in Google and Yahoo lists and bring down the nrop sites.

I don’t know they will achieve the objective or not because these nrop sites are very strong and rich too.

I also will not participate, because I think, I just a small site. My knowledge in SEO is too little and furthermore this site neyokes.com’s Google page rank is 0 although it is almost a year on the net!!! Just let the big fishes fight. It is an interesting view anyway.
