iPod + Phone = iPhone

iphoneApple Computer just annouced it’s latest gadget, a handphone! It is called an iPhone which is inspiring of the succes of the iPod.

Wah.. what a surprise! (oh no)

While other mobile phone manufatures out there are going into the multimedia market, the multimedia product is just step out of the door to looking for a place in the communication world.

IMHO, it is a brilliant move. Yes, we do know Steve Job is always a brilliant guy. But I think it is quite late. The mobile phone had reach the 3G, unlike the iPhone which is 2G. But, another but, like all the wise guys said, better late thennever.

The iPhone (don’t they have any better name? What is the”i” anyway?) have the touch screen technology (so it has no button, “We’re going to use a pointing device that we’re all born with. It works like magic,” Jobs said.), iPod inside which can play video and mp3 with iTunes support, intergrated camera (how good is it?), Google mapping software, web surfing and bla bla bla..

“The iPhone is like having your life in your pocket. It’s the ultimate digital device,” Steve Jobs said during the unveiling at MacWorld in San Francisco.

I don’t own an iPod so I don’t know how good it is. I just guess it is like any other mp3 players, the only advantage is Apple iPod got iTunes.

I got a Nokia N70, can play MP3 too! :P Although the sound is not as crisp as the Sony Erricson, but once I plug the earphone, I think the sound is so good.

Anyway, I just think the iPhone is a very good product. iPod fans might be interested to have one, so they don’t have to bring their phone on the right hand, the digital camera in their left pocket pant, and an iPod in their right pocket pant anymore.
